Swimsuit bridal shoot? Yes. I've been looking to add more unique images to my portfolio for my new site. I started with bridal images today, my beautiful sister Crystal was my model, along with bridal we did some swim wear! We were suppose to shoot at sunrise, but that...didn't happen.

After some "misunderstandings" and a little advice, there's going to be BIG changes to Spellbound Photography within the next 6 months. I'm going to be doing a temporary change to my current site, and than eventually upgrade to a better Flash site, and even divide into two, weddings and portraits. I'm going to be giving the whole business a different look, so when people visit my site they know what my style is and who I am. I don't think my current site really expresses what I'm about or shows of my work well at all. I've put countless hours into it but it still doesn't work for me! Lastly, a change in pricing, I MAY start doing packages for weddings instead of A La Carte, and an increase in the portrait side. But again this will all be happening over the course of months, but I'm really excited!
I also need some help with my blog, I'm no HTML expert. Archives can't be viewed and comments can't be left. Can anyone help me out?

Wow! You know what really makes your pictures beautiful? Beautiful models! I couldn't have asked for a better shoot, the weather was perfect and the senior was perfect. Here is a few from yesterday, I'll probably post my favorite later this week after editing, since I don't shoot again till Saturday!

It started out as a sisterly bonding thing, but I already knew it would end up being a Shelby thing! We were all suppose to get the same wrist tattoo, than we all decided to get something different. Yesterday we went up to a shop in Georgetown called
Jinx Proof, I pretty much already knew what I wanted so I was ready to go, but the other two weren't to sure about getting one. So they didn't! Too bad I didn't get any shots of the actual tattooing, Crystal was too busy holding my hand. I already have a small tattoo, and I didn't take the pain to well, but this time around it wasn't all that bad. I think a tattoo can be very beautiful depending on who gets and and what it is. I know alot of people, like my father, don't care for them but I only have one body, really not for that long of time, so if I want to decorate it, I should. Plus, if I need to hide it, I can easily cover it up with a bracelet or watch. I really like the design, its two interlocking hearts, I'm not too fond of the pink color that was chosen. The pink looks a little "cheap" to me, so I'll probably change it up to red or black when it heals.
Anyway here is just a couple pictures, I have senior shoot tonight so I'll be posting again. :)

Once a month I like to take Riley, put her in a decent outfit, tame her hair that is usually a large afro of curls, and take some portraits of her. Sometime we just stay in, and SOMETIMES we go out, one of the hardest things is taking decent pictures with expensive equipment while trying to tame a two year old outside.
This day the beach was having a "bad hair day". Sometime I'll go up there and its nice, clean and overall just great. AND THAN there's the days I go there and it doesn't even look acceptable to be there. Its odd, the water will be mucky, slimy and brown and the shore will have tons of dead bay life. We were there snapping pictures until 10 minutes into it I realized we were surrounded by jelly fish, some were alive and some were just dead. Yuck, so we ran out of there, but not too soon that I didn't capture these.
I was going for a more artistic look this time around.
Thats some REAL flare, no photoshop-ing here!

She had fun getting wet in her dress
Running far, far away from the jelly fish!
I SHOULD have a pretty interesting post Saturday...

I wasnt able to shoot this evenings couples ceremony but I did go to the Waverly Mansion for their reception. It is a beautiful old home, with lots of great photo ops inside. It is tucked into a really suburban area, accross from a shopping center but once your on the grounds you feel like your somewhere in the country!
The old furniture made for a romantic feel
